Answers to all your Animas Glow Studio & small batch handmade jewelry questions.

Over time, all fine metals tarnish. To minimize tarnishing, store your jewelry in a dry area (not your bathroom). To polish your pieces, use warm sudsy water and buff with a scratch-free cloth. Visit my Jewelry Care Page for additional info on how to care for your jewelry.

I use 14k Gold-Filled and Sterling Silver, all high-quality metals that will not cause irritation unless you have an existing metal allergy to those specific metals. If you notice a reaction, you might try changing up your skincare routine to remedy any reactions your personal chemistry may cause.

Contact me right away. If possible, I will create a half-order for you. You will be charged 50% off the price of the earrings, plus shipping.

Each necklace's chain length can be found in its product listing.

If you prefer a longer or shorter chain than what is listed, just let me know! If possible, I will be happy to customize the length, and will invoice you for any extra chain. You can request a specific length in the comment box via checkout or by emailing me within 24 hours of your purchase.

Visit any local jewelry store and request a ring sizer to determine your correct ring size. You can also purchase an Adjustable Ring Sizer on my website, in the Rings Section (Hyperlink to Rings page or maybe directly to the Ring Sizer Item) to measure your ring size at home. Keep in mind that hands shrink and swell during the day. You can also measure one of your current rings that you like. Know your ring size before you order!

14k Gold-Filled is a thick layer of solid 14k gold that is heat and pressure bonded to a center core of high-quality jeweler’s brass. With proper care, 14k gold-filled will last as long as solid 14k gold. While gold-filled pieces can still tarnish, it takes special circumstances for that to happen. Pure gold doesn’t tarnish, so the thick layer of 14k gold on gold-filled pieces prevents tarnishing.

All jewelry items are intended as a final sale; however, I understand the limitations of shopping for jewelry pieces online. I put my heart and soul into each piece and ultimately I want you to be happy with your jewelry. If there is an issue with an order/jewelry item, or if it wasn’t what you were expecting, I will consider a return upon approval of the item, though you are responsible for all shipping and insurance costs, with no refund for the original shipping cost. The item may require a $5-10 re-stocking fee for any polishing/cleaning of the piece. If the item arrives damaged and/or is stolen/lost, the sender is fully responsible for the item. Please read each item’s description completely, and double check the length and width of pieces and finger sizes. Feel free to contact me directly with any questions before you buy for a smooth shopping experience.

All purchases are final sale. If you receive an item that is damaged in transit, please message me within 5 days of receiving your item.

Please be certain of your ring size before purchasing, as refunds will not be given due to an incorrect size. I do have ring sizers available on my website if you are unsure.

Animas Glow Studio now ships first-class mail for $5 and priority for $9. You can select your preferred method at checkout.

Please note - Once your package leaves my hands and is in the hands of the shipping carrier (i.e. USPS), it is no longer my responsibility, and I am not responsible for lost packages. Animas Glow Studio is a small business run only by me and unfortunately, I can not afford to replace items lost by shipping carriers. That being said, please reach out if there is a typo in your shipping address and I'll correct it if I'm still in possession of the item. 

If your package is lost or stolen in transit, please contact your local Postal Office. They will assist you in recovering or refunding you for the lost package. Please contact animasglowstudio@gmail.com and I will assist you in replacing your order.

Ready to ship pieces will be mailed within 1-3 business days after purchase. Each order will include a tracking number for your convenience. Again, please understand that once the order is shipped, it is officially out of my hands. 

Shipping costs depend on weight, location, and mail class. You can choose which mail class you prefer. 

First Class Mail typically takes 5-7 days from time of shipping and includes no shipping insurance.

Priority Mail typically takes 2-5 days from time of shipping and includes insurance. I recommend this option if you are buying a higher-price item.

All orders over $125 ship free in the USA via USPS ground.

You will receive a shipping notification with tracking when your order ships out. 

A note on expedited shipping: If you choose an expedited shipping option (i.e. USPS priority or UPS 2-Day), your order must be received by 12:00PM MST to ship that same day.

Damages and issues:

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

My pieces are built to last. However, if there is a defect out of your control such as a clasp breaking, I will always fix it for you. If you feel you need some kind of repair for a faulty piece, please contact me. I offer chain replacements starting at $15.

After your order is placed, changes and/or cancellations must be made within 24 hours. Changes requested past 24 hours cannot be made as your order is already in my hands being made. Please contact me via email to make a change or cancellation. This does not include gift card purchases which are FINAL. 

If ordering from a collection release and you change your mind and would like to cancel, it must be done that day. My collections tend to sell out and if one item gets canceled, it is more difficult to sell again. Thank you for understanding.
